Children aged 8-16 can attend fun and free workshops by Karen Hanvidge Ceramics. Children will learn to make pinch pots, coil pots, and slab building, surface decoration and finishing techniques. All work will be glazed and fired for children to keep. Workshop run thanks to Paisley 2021 funding. First workshop will be held in Paisley Museum on 27th November at 2pm (until 4:30pm). Adults interested in making personalised workshops (think about Christmas gift!) are welcome to attend KCD’s Traditional Lampshade Making Workshop. The workshop is suitable for beginners and it costs only £39. All materials are included in the price but everyone is welcome to bring they favourite fabric (min. 25x100cm).
